About Me

Hi, I'm !

Many people have asked me why I chose to pursue real estate after a lot of years in healthcare.  For those who know me, they know I spent almost 15 years as an Administrator in long-term care.  During the COVID years, I came back home locally to work in healthcare closer to my hometown; but I still had a love and a passion for seniors and the unique challenges that aging and downsizing represents.


So, I chose to pursue a career in real estate to meet this need head on.  I have a unique vision for how to help with these challenges and it's exactly what's needed in this type of market.  Therefore, my goal is to grow my business to meet a niche with vast knowledge for the following populations:


  • Elders place in care and their family has to deal with their assets;
  • Early seniors who are downsizing after their kids are gone;
  • Estates that have to liquidate real estate to settle probate;
  • Divorce later in life (happens a lot more than people realize);
  • OR relocation in retirement.


I helped my parents through a serious transition during the COVID pandemic, and found my passion in it.  If you are in this situation, give me a call.  I'm happy to meet and just talk.  It doesn't cost a thing to just talk about this very unsettling time.


When I'm not assisting others, I love to spend time with my husband and my large extended family.  My guilty pleasure is international travel, and i go as often as I can.  If you dream of chucking it all and seeing the world, I share your dream, and I can help you make that a reality.

    As your Buyer's Representative, we can make the process of house hunting much easier and more efficient than if you did it all yourself. 

    • Do I have to sign a buyers agreement just to view a home?

      A buyer agency agreement is required for an agent to show a buyer a home, either in person or virtually under the recent National Association of Realtors (NAR) settlement agreement.  Therefore, in NC, if you attend and open house, view a listing online and want to see it, or want to have a broker view it for you remotely, a written buyer agency agreement is required In advance.  I'm happy to speak to you about it if you still have questions.
